About Cafe de Coral Holdings
Café de Coral is Hong Kong's largest Chinese fast-food group. Founded in 1968 in Causeway Bay, it opened its first restaurant in 1969 and grew to operate over 580 outlets across its brands, serving more than 300,000 customers a day in Hong Kong alone. Its Chinese name, Da Jia Le, sums up its philosophy: quality food at affordable prices for everyone.
The group manages a portfolio of own brands covering very different formats: Café de Coral restaurants, Super Super Congee & Noodles, The Spaghetti House, Oliver's Super Sandwiches, Shanghai Lao Lao and Mixian Sense, among others. It adds institutional catering through Asia Pacific Catering and Luncheon Star, serving schools, hospitals and companies.
Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, it also runs around one hundred outlets in mainland China. Its model combines centralised kitchens, menu innovation — it pioneered the one-person hot pot in fast food — and popular prices, earning it the nickname 'the big canteen of Hong Kong people'.
