About Xiaolongkan Hot Pot

Xiaolongkan Hot Pot is a Chinese brand of traditional Sichuan hot pot restaurants founded in 2014 in Chengdu, also promoted internationally as Shoo Loong Kan. It specialises in old-style spicy Sichuan hot pot, with bold broths, traditional tallow bases and fresh ingredients, and has become one of China's most popular hot pot brands among local and younger diners.

Its offer revolves around spicy and double-flavour broths and classic ingredients for cooking at the pot, such as beef tripe, duck blood, tofu skin, dumplings, pork ribs and prawns, in restaurants with traditional Chinese decor that evokes the atmosphere of Chengdu's classic teahouses and eateries. The brand has also extended its name to self-heating hot pot products sold at retail.

According to the sources consulted, the chain totals around 800 locations in China, Singapore, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Japan, with flagship restaurants in areas such as Chunxi Road in Chengdu. In restaurants and food services it represents the new generation of regional hot pot chains growing through franchising and social notoriety from Sichuan to the world.
