About Grand Skylight Hotels
Chinese hotel management group headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, operated by Shenzhen Grand Skylight Hotel Management, a subsidiary of the state-owned AVIC group, whose origins go back to the opening of Shenzhen's Shanghai Hotel in 1985. Its official website is gshmhotels.com and it has more than three decades of experience in hotel planning, construction consultancy and operations.
Its core offer is organised into own brands for the midscale and upscale segments: the five-star Grand Skylight International hotels, the four-star Grand Skylight hotels, the Tianyue boutique business hotels and apartment and resort lines, with full management services for owners, project consultancy and food-and-beverage and events operations. According to the sources consulted, the network exceeds one hundred hotels in operation or under construction in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Xi'an, as well as projects outside China.
Its natural market is hotel owners and investors looking for a Chinese operator with international standards, and midscale-to-upscale business and leisure travellers in the cities where the group is present. For a partner or customer, the listing makes it possible to verify the group's identity, brands and scope of operations from its official website and the sources consulted.
