About G7 Connect
G7 Connect is a Chinese technology company based in Beijing specialising in digital services for road freight transport. Its platform combines the Internet of Things (IoT), data and cloud software (SaaS) so that shippers, logistics operators and fleet managers can control their vehicles and shipments: asset tracking, driver safety, order and route management and transactional services for energy, insurance and equipment linked to daily truck operations.
In 2022 G7 completed its merger with E6 Technology, China's other major SaaS provider for shippers and consumer-logistics operators, creating the country's largest software service provider in the sector; both brands kept differentiated operations within the resulting group, backed by investors such as Tencent, Cainiao and Hidden Hill Capital. Before the merger, the two companies already served the large majority of the country's big shippers and logistics providers and tens of thousands of freight managers.
Its natural market is road haulage companies, large shippers in sectors such as consumer goods, food and cold chain, and Chinese logistics operators digitalising their fleet management through software and IoT subscriptions instead of developing their own systems.
