Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co., Ltd. is a Chinese aluminium materials company headquartered in Gongyi, Henan Province, incorporated in 1993 —with industrial roots going back to 1975— and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. It has been built as a group with a complete industrial chain around aluminium: coal mining and power generation as support, electrolytic aluminium production and, as its main business, the deep processing of aluminium into high value-added products.
Its reported capacity reaches around 750,000 tonnes per year of electrolytic aluminium —including green hydropower aluminium— and about 690,000 tonnes of deep-processing products. The catalogue covers can body, end and tab stock for beverage cans, aluminium foil for new-energy battery packaging, high-performance alloy sheets, anodising materials for electronic housings, cast aluminium alloy wheel hubs, bars, ingots, plates, strips and foils, as well as wire rod and alumina powder.
The group's high-precision products subsidiary, dedicated to high-end aluminium strip and sheet with re-melting, casting, hot and cold rolling and finishing processes, is a member of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative. Zhongfu directs its strategy towards lightweight, green materials for packaging, electronics, automotive and construction, and is progressively shifting primary aluminium capacity towards western regions with hydropower resources.
