About Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., Ltd.
Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., Ltd. is a Chinese manufacturer of cast iron and steel products headquartered in Wu'an, in the Handan area of Hebei Province. Its origins go back to 1971, to a People's Liberation Army works known as Factory No. 2672, and the company has been listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1997 as the core enterprise of the state-owned Xinxing Cathay International Group, supervised by SASAC.
It is regarded as one of the world's largest manufacturers of centrifugally cast ductile iron pipes: it produces pipes from DN80 to DN2600 in various lengths and with different internal and external coatings, together with ductile iron fittings for water supply, drainage and gas distribution networks. Its metallurgical catalogue is completed by press-welded steel gratings and railings —a segment in which it also ranks among the world leaders— as well as steel products and castings.
The company runs multiple pipe and fittings production bases across China —Handan, Wuhu in Anhui, Huangshi in Hubei, Korla in Xinjiang, Yiyang in Hunan and Yangjiang in Guangdong, among others— and combines pipe making, steel making and machinery within a single group. Its ductile iron pipes are used in major municipal water and sanitation works in China and abroad.
