About Xinxiang Bailu Chemical Fiber

Xinxiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., known by its Bailu ('egret') brand, is a Chinese man-made fibre producer headquartered in Xinxiang, Henan Province, and the pillar company of the Bailu Investment Group. It is one of China's leading producers of regenerated cellulose filament yarn, at times accounting for around one third of national viscose filament output.

Its three main product lines are regenerated cellulosic filament under the Bailu brand, viscose staple fibre, and polyurethane fibre (spandex), with combined annual capacity on the order of 300,000 tonnes across the lines as presented in the company's own introduction. The fibres supply weaving, knitting and garment manufacturers in China and export markets.

Bailu has positioned itself in sustainable fibres: its Bailu-Eco viscose filament yarn is made with recycled pulp, it works with the CanopyStyle initiative to protect forests — receiving the highest 'dark green shirt' rating in the 2024 Hot Button Report — and in 2025 it commissioned a pilot line (ByluRecel) to produce next-generation viscose fibre from recovered textiles at its Xinxiang base.
