Zhejiang Hengyi Group Co., Ltd. is one of China's large private chemical fibre groups, headquartered in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Formally established as a group company on 18 October 1994, although its origins go back to a 1974 knitting factory, it has grown into a modern enterprise specialising in petrochemical and chemical fibre raw materials for the global textile industry.
Hengyi runs a dual polyester-plus-nylon industrial chain model: it is one of the world's major PTA and polyester suppliers, with declared annual capacities in the millions of tonnes of PTA and PET, and it produces PET chips, POY, FDY, DTY, polyester staple fibre and differentiated fibres, as well as caprolactam and PA6 chips for the nylon chain.
