About West Air

West Air is a Chinese low-cost airline based in Liangjiang, Chongqing, established in March 2007 by HNA Aviation. It launched scheduled services in July 2010 and was one of the four founding members of the U-FLY low-cost alliance, applying a low-fare model with optional paid ancillary services.

Its main hub is Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, with a second hub in Zhengzhou, from which it operates a scheduled passenger network covering numerous domestic destinations across China. Internationally it serves destinations in East Asia and Southeast Asia, such as South Korea and Myanmar.

The airline, which operates under IATA code PN, flies an all-Airbus A320 family fleet. Its official website, westair.cn, published in Chinese, is the sales and information channel for its flights, fares and passenger services. West Air has established itself as one of the leading low-cost carriers in western and inland China.
