About Sinotruk

Sinotruk, the listed arm of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC), is the heavy duty truck manufacturer headquartered with its main production bases in Jinan, capital of Shandong Province. Its parent company was China's first heavy duty truck maker and built the country's first heavy duty truck in 1960, the Yellow River JN150, the milestone that marks the birth of this industry in China.

The group researches, develops and manufactures heavy, medium and light trucks and their key components: trucks and chassis over 14 tonnes gross weight, semi-tractors with trailing capacity over 12 tonnes, tippers and special chassis, plus engines, transmissions and axles produced by its own subsidiaries. Its commercial brands include SITRAK, HOWO, Huanghe, Hohan and Wangpai, covering long haul and construction through to urban distribution and special vehicles.

In recent years the group has reported annual sales of hundreds of thousands of vehicles, remaining China's largest heavy duty truck manufacturer by volume. Its new energy products follow three technical routes — pure electric, fuel cell and hybrid — for ports, steel mills, municipal sanitation and urban logistics, and the brand's export network reaches more than one hundred countries.
