About Beijing Scinor Water Technology
Beijing Scinor Water Technology Co., Ltd. (Scinor) is a Beijing company founded in 2002 that researches, develops and applies membrane-based water treatment and recycling technologies. Since 2003 it has built many large membrane water treatment projects in China, which have played an important role in driving the development of the water treatment market, the desalination market and, in particular, advanced wastewater treatment and reuse technology.
Scinor's business covers the treatment and recycling of municipal and industrial water and the treatment of seawater, combining in-house membrane manufacturing with complete system integration. Its signature technology is ultrafiltration with PVDF membranes produced by thermally induced phase separation (TIPS), used in strong, highly permeable modules for new plants and for direct retrofit replacement of other suppliers' membrane modules.
The group is present in Beijing, New York and Singapore through its commercial network, with an installed base of hundreds of drinking-water and wastewater installations in several countries. Scinor was nominated as breakthrough water technology company of the year at the 2016 Global Water Awards, in recognition of its combination of membrane manufacturing and process engineering for municipal and industrial customers.
