Poten Environment Group Co., Ltd., Botian Huanjing in Chinese, is a Beijing environmental services company founded on January 18, 1995 by Zhao Lijun and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2017 (603603). It is headquartered at the Shougang International Trade Tower, on Xizhimen North Street in Haidian district, and organizes its network through more than ninety subsidiaries and five regional centers across China.
Its activity is divided into three main lines. The urban water environment covers water supply, domestic sewage treatment, reclaimed water reuse, pipeline networks, foul river regulation, «sponge city» construction and river planning. Industrial water systems serve sectors such as coal chemicals, petrochemicals, thermal power, textiles, papermaking, food and beverage, biopharmaceuticals and electronics, with supply, desalination, recycling and zero liquid discharge solutions. The third line is dedicated to ecological restoration and soil remediation.
The company delivers its projects under EPC, BOT, PPP and BOO models and supports its offering with proprietary technologies such as Bio-HAT, MEM-MBR membranes, Hi-SOT ozone catalysis, Hi-Zero salt separation and the iRiver smart water management platform, which monitors water quality and hydrological conditions online. It also executes international projects, such as the industrial wastewater plant of the KAR refinery in Iraqi Kurdistan.
