About Okay Airways

Okay Airways, which operates under the OK Air brand, holds a singular place in Chinese aviation: founded in 2004 and flying its first service in March 2005, it was the country's first privately owned airline. It is headquartered in Beijing's Daxing district and runs its passenger operation under the IATA code BK.

Its network rests on bases such as Tianjin Binhai and Xi'an Xianyang, with Changsha as a secondary hub, and connects medium and large cities across China, alongside dedicated cargo services. Its Boeing 737 fleet supports a scheduled programme aimed both at domestic travellers and at regional connectivity for cities not always covered by the large state-owned groups' networks.

The airline's official website, in Chinese, handles ticket sales and service, timetable and carriage information. Over two decades Okay Airways has kept an independent identity in a market dominated by large groups, retaining its own brand, website and operator's licence.
