New Oriental Education & Technology Group

New Oriental is China's best-known private education group, founded in 1993 in Beijing from English test-preparation courses. Its official website xdf.cn today brings together language training, preparation for national and international exams, overseas-study consulting and programmes for school students.

After the 2021 regulatory reform that transformed school tutoring in China, the group refocused on non-curriculum training, overseas-study services, adult education and new lines such as smart learning and educational cultural-travel activities.

Listed in New York and Hong Kong, New Oriental remains a reference for Chinese families and students seeking languages and international mobility, with schools and centres in dozens of cities and a large online course platform.
