About MINGR Jewellery (Zhejiang Ming Jewelry)

MINGR is the brand of Zhejiang Ming Jewelry Co., Ltd., a jewellery company founded in 1987 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, by the Yu family and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2011. The company holds a singular place in Chinese jewellery: in 1994 it released the first platinum jewellery piece in China, and platinum remains, alongside diamond, at the centre of its brand identity.

The company integrates research, design, production and sales of precious metal and gemstone jewellery: platinum, diamond, gold, K-gold, jade and fine silver jewellery, distributed through its network of MING-branded stores and online channels. Its headquarters are in Shaoxing's Keqiao District, a historic textile and manufacturing hub of Zhejiang, from where it coordinates national manufacturing and distribution.

In recent years the listed company has diversified its activity into photovoltaic cells and real estate marketing, segments that coexist with the jewellery business that gave it its name and reputation. With more than nine hundred employees stated in its stock profiles, MINGR remains one of the historic references of platinum in the Chinese jewellery market.
