About Mengna Hosiery (Zhejiang Mengna)
Mengna is the brand of Zhejiang Mengna Hosiery, a socks and hosiery manufacturer born in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, which grew from a small sock trading business in the 1990s into one of China's top ten hosiery enterprises. Yiwu, the world's largest small commodities distribution centre, is also one of the historic hubs of Chinese hosiery, and Mengna is one of its emblem brands.
The company has twice in a row received the «China Hosiery Industry Logo Brand» distinction, the sector's highest brand honour, shared in that period with La Sha. Its production covers socks and hosiery for women, men and children, with integrated manufacturing and a strong export vocation: tens of millions of pairs a year go to the United States market alone according to trade press.
Alongside its own brand, Mengna has been an important supplier to international brands and chains such as Calvin Klein, Puma, Goldtoe and Walmart, a combination of own brand and third-party manufacturing typical of Zhejiang's large hosiery groups. Its official website presents the Mengna range and the group's activity from its Yiwu base.
