About Chaoxing (Beijing Century Superstar Information Technology)

Chaoxing, operated by Beijing Century Superstar Information Technology Development, is one of China's longest-standing education technology companies: founded in 1993, in 2000 it launched the SuperStar digital library, one of the largest collections of digitised Chinese books in the world, supplied to universities and libraries by institutional subscription.

Its Chaoxing learning platform — known through the Xuexitong app — covers the whole university teaching process: course building, live and recorded classes, assignments, exams, formative assessment and learning analytics. It also integrates AI assistants that prepare lessons, generate slides, mark work and answer questions in real time.

The ecosystem is completed by DuXiu, its full-text academic search engine; Zhizhen, a bibliographic discovery layer indexing over a billion records; and Chaoxing Qikan for journals and newspapers. Thousands of Chinese universities use its tools daily, making it basic infrastructure of the country's digital higher education.
