About Beijing Sanfo Outdoor Products
Beijing Sanfo Outdoor Products Co., Ltd., trading as Sanfo Outdoor, is China's longest-established specialist retail chain for mountaineering and outdoor equipment. Founded in 1997 in Beijing, it is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under code 002780 and has grown from a first store by Madian Park into a network of more than thirty outlets in the country's main cities.
Sanfo stores stock over two hundred international and Chinese brands of technical equipment: mountain clothing and footwear, backpacks, climbing and ski gear, tents and travel accessories. Unlike a generalist retailer, Sanfo built its reputation on staff who practise mountain sports themselves and on technical advice aimed at both beginners and experienced mountaineers.
The group complements retail with an ecosystem of activities: member clubs, hiking and camping outings, youth camps and its own trail and mountain events that build loyalty within its customer community. Its headquarters are in Beijing's Xicheng District, and its official website in Chinese integrates the online shop, the store directory and customer service channels.
