About Zhejiang YAT Electric Appliance Co., Ltd.
Zhejiang YAT Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. is a Chinese manufacturer of garden machinery, power tools and smart products founded in 2002 and headquartered in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. The company runs two production bases, in Jiaxing and Ningbo, and sales branches in Hangzhou, the United States and Europe, and declares registered capital of 51 million US dollars.
Its catalogue is organised around shared battery and engine platforms —the X2, X5 and X6 series and its 4QL four-stroke technology— covering 18V and 60V lithium-ion garden tools, corded equipment, chainsaws, lawn mowers, robotic and zero-turn mowers, brush cutters, pressure washers and power tools. Its chainsaws obtained the first certification of their kind issued by Rheinland in China and exceed one and a half million units sold per year, within an output that the company exports to more than one hundred countries.
YAT's industrial park in Jiaxing brings together plastic injection factories, production workshops, laboratories and a testing centre, its own motor factory —series, DC and brushless motors—, and an R&D centre, with a declared daily capacity of 58,000 units across garden tools, power tools, batteries, chargers and robotic products. With the mission of innovating quality tools for a better life, YAT addresses distributors and brands looking for an integrated outdoor equipment manufacturer with in-house development, testing and production.
