About Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus
Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. is a Chinese bus and coach manufacturer headquartered in Xiamen, Fujian Province. Established in 1992 as a joint venture within the King Long group, it specialises in developing, manufacturing and selling medium and large luxury buses and light vans under the Golden Dragon brand, and is recognised as a Chinese national complete-vehicle export base.
Its premises cover close to one million square metres with three production plants, around four thousand employees and an annual output capacity of more than forty thousand buses. The range exceeds two hundred and fifty varieties across more than twenty series, with lengths from 4.8 to 18 metres and seating from 5 to 66: touring coaches, city buses, school buses, hybrid and electric versions and light vans. Golden Dragon was the first Chinese manufacturer to obtain the EU's WVTA whole vehicle type approval.
The company has exported since 2003 and its buses run in nearly one hundred and twenty countries and regions across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America, supported by more than one hundred and fifty overseas after-sales service centres and active distributor arrangements. For transport operators and importers it offers complete vehicles with international certification, spare parts supply and country agency programmes.
