Wengfu (Group) Co., Ltd. is a large Chinese state-owned chemical group headquartered in Guiyang, Guizhou province, built on the national phosphate fertilizer base raised in the 1990s and established as a group under its current name in 2008. The company integrates phosphate mining, the production of high-concentration phosphate fertilizers and fine phosphorus, fluorine and iodine chemicals.
Its main production includes monoammonium phosphate (MAP) and diammonium phosphate (DAP), purified phosphoric acid and derivatives, value-added fluorinated and iodinated products and battery materials, supported by its own phosphate rock mines and large-scale plants. The group maintains bases in Fuquan (Guizhou), Jinchang (Gansu), Dazhou (Sichuan) and Shanghang (Fujian), and a separately listed subsidiary dedicated to the fertilizer business.
Wengfu hosts the State Key Laboratory for phosphate resource exploitation co-built with Sichuan University and exports fertilizers and phosphate products to numerous countries. For international buyers, it is one of China's major producers of phosphate fertilizers and phosphorus chemicals, based in Guiyang's Nanming district.
