WELLE Group Co., Ltd., Weierli in Chinese, is an environmental technology group headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu province. Founded in 2003 and listed since 2011 on Shenzhen's ChiNext market (300190), it changed its name from Welle Environmental Group to WELLE Group in 2026. It employs more than 1,400 people, groups over one hundred subsidiaries and has been recognized as a national specialized and technologically advanced «little giant» enterprise.
It began as a specialist in landfill leachate treatment, a segment in which it keeps a leading position, and today structures its business into three areas. The urban environment covers municipal kitchen and food organic waste treatment, leachate, landfill closure and restoration, sludge treatment and recycling, municipal and rural sewage treatment and construction waste disposal. Industrial services include VOC and oil vapor recovery, industrial wastewater zero discharge and the treatment of oilfield and brewing wastewater. Energy services develop biogas and biomethane, biofuel oil, anaerobic utilization of organic waste and industrial energy saving.
The group adds incubated lines such as insect protein, metal recovery and alternative fuels, and also supplies its own equipment through engineering and manufacturing subsidiaries in Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou and Changzhou. Its projects serve local governments, industrial parks and large industries that outsource the treatment of their waste and effluents.
