About Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection Group

Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection Group Company Limited is a Chinese municipal environmental services company incorporated in 1993, listed in Shanghai (600874) and Hong Kong (1065) and controlled by Tianjin Municipal Investment. It is headquartered in the TCEP Building on Weijin South Road in Tianjin's Nankai District, and its principal business is urban sewage treatment.

The group builds and operates sewage and tap-water treatment plants, produces and supplies reclaimed water through its pipeline network, and provides sludge treatment and hazardous waste services. According to its interim report, the total capacity of its water business exceeds 6.2 million cubic metres per day, with about 5.27 million cubic metres per day of sewage treatment capacity, spread over projects in 15 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions of China, run under BOT, TOT and PPP models and under entrusted operation.

Beyond water, Tianjin Capital develops new-energy cooling and heating, photovoltaic power generation and resource recovery from sludge, and sells environmental protection equipment and technology services. That combination of plant operation, facility construction and third-party environmental services makes it one of the long-established water-sector operators in northern China.
