Tangjiu Convenience is the convenience store chain of Taiyuan Tangjiu Supermarket, a private company founded in 1996 that introduced the convenience format to Shanxi Province in 1998. The brand was the first in China's convenience sector to be recognized as a national well-known trademark and has repeatedly featured in the country's top one hundred retail chains list.
The network exceeds fifteen hundred directly operated and franchised stores — expanding to Xi'an and other provinces such as Shaanxi, Henan, Hebei and Hainan — open twenty-four hours with an assortment of around two thousand five hundred items. Each store adds value services such as utility payments, top-ups, parcel handling, prepared food and home delivery through the main platforms.
The company backs the network with a forty-thousand-square-meter logistics center integrating ambient distribution, cold chain, e-commerce and its own bakery and fresh-food factories created in 2011 and 2019.
