About China Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co., Ltd.

China Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co., Ltd. is the joint venture created in 2001 between Honda Motor and Chinese partners — Sundiro Investment and Tianjin Honda — to manufacture Honda motorcycles in China, headquartered in Shanghai. It was formed by merging the operations of Tianjin Honda with Hainan Sundiro's motorcycle business, and became one of Honda's key production bases in the world's largest motorcycle market.

From its plants in Taicang (Jiangsu) and Tianjin, the company builds Cub-type and utility motorcycles of small and medium displacement, including the Super Cub family, the Wave and models developed for the Chinese market such as the M-Living (WanLiXing). Its two factories have a combined annual capacity of around 850,000 units and employ thousands of people in development, production and quality control.

Beyond supplying the domestic market, Sundiro Honda exports motorcycles, components and complete models to more than 25 countries across Asia, Oceania, Africa and Latin America. Its proposition pairs the durability and fuel efficiency associated with Honda engineering with prices tailored to riders in regional cities and rural areas, backed by a nationwide sales and service network.
