About Shandong Chambroad Petrochemicals
Shandong Chambroad Petrochemicals, known in Chinese as Jingbo Shihua, is a large private petrochemical company located in the Economic Development Zone of Boxing County, Binzhou, Shandong Province. Its origins date to 1991, when it began as the Boxing lubricants factory, and petrochemicals have been its main business since 1998; it belongs to the Chambroad group, which has over 11,000 employees and operates in more than 50 countries and regions.
Its business integrates petroleum refining and downstream deep processing in three lines: high-efficiency fuels — with gasoline and diesel that anticipated the China VI national standards — high-end chemicals and high-performance materials, including specialty asphalts, olefin products and polybutylene alloy (PB-A). The company has been recognized as a national "green factory" and is noted for its clean fuel production processes.
The complex covers more than 7,400 mu and is supported by the group's research institute and provincial platforms for green chemistry and new materials. Chambroad serves China's energy, chemical and materials markets with a strategy of moving from bulk products toward high-value specialty materials, combining refining, fine chemistry and incubation of new materials ventures.
