About Seeed Studio
Seeed Studio, the brand of Shenzhen-based Seeed Technology, has served the global developer community since 2008 as an open hardware platform with agile manufacturing services. Its stated mission is to make hardware more accessible and lower the threshold for hardware innovation, drawing on Shenzhen's industrial resources and an international network of technology and distribution partners.
Its catalogue is organised into well-known families: the tiny XIAO microcontroller boards built around different chips (ESP32, nRF52840, RP2040 and others), the Grove modular system of sensors and actuators with standard connectors, SenseCAP industrial sensors with LoRaWAN connectivity for agriculture and environmental monitoring, and the reComputer line of edge computing devices based on NVIDIA Jetson for artificial intelligence applications. Displays, communication modules and educational and robotics kits complete the range.
Beyond its own products, Seeed provides manufacturing and customisation services that take a design from prototype to production, including PCB and assembly work, customised industrial products and complete sensing solutions. It is a reference point in the maker ecosystem and, increasingly, a supplier of IoT and applied-AI hardware for companies building connected products.
