About Sanfangxiang Group
Jiangsu Sanfangxiang Group Co., Ltd. (Sanfame Group) is a Chinese polyester and chemical fibre group headquartered in Zhouzhuang Town, Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. Founded in 1980 on the base of a synthetic fibre factory, it has become a diversified holding group with the polyester industry as its core, plus chemical new materials, polyester film, textiles, investment, hotels and international trade.
Its production scale includes about 1.8 million tonnes per year of PTA, nearly 2 million tonnes of bottle-grade PET chips, 800,000 tonnes of polyester staple fibre, 400,000 tonnes of polyester filament and 300,000 tonnes of PET film. Its 'Sanfangxiang' staple fibre and 'Jade' (Cuiyu) bottle-grade chips have been recognised as famous Chinese trademarks, and the group ranks among the country's largest chemical fibre production bases.
The group employs more than 7,000 people, includes the listed company Sanfame Polyester Material (Shanghai Stock Exchange, 600370) among its more than twenty member units, and sells its polyester products into more than one hundred countries and regions.
