About Red Avenue New Materials Group
Red Avenue New Materials Group is a Chinese fine chemical new materials company founded in 1999 and headquartered in Shanghai, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (603650). It began as a specialist in products for the rubber and tire industry and has expanded into electronic materials and fully biodegradable materials.
Its historical business is phenolic resins for rubber — tackifying, reinforcing and adhesive resins, including p-tert-butylphenol formaldehyde and resorcinol formaldehyde resins — together with rubber processing aids, silica and functional additives, silanes, waxes, eco-friendly processing oils and cobalt products. In electronic materials it produces photoresists for colour filters and TFT-LCD and AMOLED displays, and in biodegradable materials it develops compostable plastics.
The group runs R&D centres in Beijing and Shanghai and several manufacturing plants in China, and maintains relationships with international chemical companies such as BASF, Evonik and Arkema across its commercial and industrial network. It serves tire and technical rubber manufacturers, the display industry and sustainable materials producers in China and international markets, with a strategy of specialization in high-performance fine chemistry.
