About Qian Dama
Qian Dama is a Chinese fresh food store chain operated by Guangzhou Qiandama Agricultural Products Co., Ltd., founded in 2012 from a first butcher's shop opened in Chang'an, Dongguan. Its headquarters are in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and its name is associated across the country with its most famous commercial pledge: never selling meat left over from the previous day.
Qian Dama's model is based on small neighbourhood stores close to residential areas, selling pork, beef and poultry, vegetables, fruit, fish and grocery staples with daily replenishment. At the end of each day, remaining fresh stock is cleared with stepped discounts until it sells out, a daily-clearance system that guarantees rotation and became its signature difference from traditional supermarkets and wet markets.
The network exceeds three thousand seven hundred stores, largely franchised, concentrated in the Greater Bay Area and expanding into other regions of China. Its official website, in Chinese, provides information on the franchise model, the assortment and service channels, including the company's national hotline.
