About People's Education Press
People's Education Press is China's state textbook publisher, headquartered in Beijing under the Ministry of Education. It publishes the unified textbooks used in primary and secondary classrooms across the whole country, which makes it the educational publisher with the widest reach in China.
Its official website, published in Chinese, gives access to the electronic editions of its textbooks by level and subject —from Chinese, mathematics and English to science, history, art and physical education— including editions for special education schools in braille, large-print low-vision and deaf-school formats. It also covers synchronised reading books, preschool education, educational theory and its children's and young readers' lists.
