Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (NHI) is a Chinese state-owned heavy machinery group headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning, formed in 2006 from the merger of the Shenyang heavy machinery and mining machinery groups. The group designs and manufactures equipment for mining, metallurgy, power, building materials and underground works, and also acts as an engineering project contractor.
Its mining offer covers almost the whole process, with cone, gyratory and jaw crushers, ball and rod mills, magnetic separators, flotation machines, thickeners and beneficiation equipment. Alongside it builds metallurgical equipment such as sintering and pelletising machines and rolling mills, tunnel boring equipment, port equipment and bulk material conveying, loading and unloading systems, plus power and environmental protection equipment.
