Ningbo Forward Relay Corp., Ltd. is a relay manufacturer in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, with origins in 1986 as a local relay factory and established as a joint venture in 1990. With more than three decades of specialised production, it researches, mass produces and distributes electromagnetic relays for customers worldwide under the Forward brand.
Its range covers signal relays, power relays, industrial relays, latching relays and automotive relays, with more than twenty thousand relay types reported and recent series such as the NT98, designed for better PCB utilisation in a smaller envelope than the NT90 series. The factory covers some 80,000 square metres, employs over seven hundred people and reports an annual production capacity exceeding one hundred and fifty million pieces.
The company ranks among China's top one hundred electronic components enterprises, has been recognised as a national little giant manufacturer and as a Ningbo time-honoured brand, and most of its products hold UL, cUL, CQC, VDE and TÜV certifications. Forward presents its new products at fairs such as electronica and Electronica China and serves applications in home appliances, industrial control, communications, energy metering and new energies.
