Maipu Communication Technology Co., Ltd. is a Chinese data communication equipment maker founded in 1993, headquartered at Maipu Mansion in the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone, Sichuan province. From the invention of its award-winning MP1000 modem onwards, Maipu has focused on the research and development of networking equipment and become a main networking solution supplier in China, with over 1,500 staff — nearly half of them in R&D — and more than 1,500 filed patents.
