About Lumibricks
Lumibricks is the brand, formerly known as Funwhole, that pioneered building-block sets with lighting integrated from the design stage. Based in Guangzhou, the company starts from a simple question: what happens to a brick model when night falls. Its answer is to design every set with lights, wiring and translucent parts planned from the first sketch, rather than added as an afterthought.
Its catalogue is aimed mainly at adult builders and collectors, with modular city series, retro and steampunk worlds, fantasy, Western themes and tropical scenes. Complete universes such as its Steampunk line stand out, with towers, trains and stations where dozens of light points, fibre optics and signal lamps create a cinematic atmosphere when the model is switched on.
The company protects its lighting system with patents and sells worldwide through its official store and international platforms. In 2025 it adopted the Lumibricks name for its global stage, keeping the product codes and the community built under the Funwhole brand.
