About Kylin Software
Kylin Software is the Chinese operating-system company built around the Kylin operating system, one of the most widely deployed foundational software platforms in China. Formed in 2020 through the integration of long-standing teams from the Kylin ecosystem, the company belongs to the China Electronics group and focuses on developing, adapting and supporting its own operating systems for the Chinese market.
Its portfolio includes the Kylin desktop operating system, a server operating system, editions for industrial environments and hardware and software certification and adaptation services. Built on the Linux kernel, these products are designed to run on the main processor architectures used in China and provide strengthened security, centralised administration and migration tools for organisations replacing foreign platforms.
Headquartered in Tianjin, Kylin Software serves government bodies, financial institutions, energy companies, operators and educational institutions across the country. The company also promotes a broad compatibility ecosystem with equipment manufacturers and application developers, and provides training, update and technical support services that accompany the deployment of its systems in critical environments.
