Inner Mongolia King Deer Cashmere Co., Ltd., founded in 1985 and headquartered in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, is one of China's major cashmere names. It began as a sweater factory in the so-called Deer City and today runs a complete chain from fibre dehairing to finished garment, with production bases in China and knitting plants in Madagascar and Cambodia.
