Junma Tyre Cord Company Limited, founded in 1991 in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, is China's largest production base for tyre carcass materials. Its core products are nylon 6 yarn and nylon 6 dipped tyre cord fabric, in which it is credited with the largest capacity in China and Asia, at around 120,000 tons of yarn and 100,000 tons of cord fabric per year.
The range is completed by HMLS polyester industrial yarn and its matching cord fabric, nylon 66 yarn and fabrics — including for applications such as airbags — aramid dipped fabrics and steel cord, so that a single supplier covers almost every textile and metallic reinforcement used in a tyre. The company integrates polymerisation, spinning, twisting, weaving and dipping at its facilities in the Yangtze River Delta.
Junma supplies more than twenty of the world's top 75 tyre manufacturers and publishes ESG reports in English and Chinese through the group's official website. As a large private enterprise, it combines high-tenacity industrial yarn production with an established export presence in technical synthetic materials.
