Jiangsu Zhongtian Steel Group, known internationally as Zenith Steel Group, is a large steel complex founded in September 2001 and headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. It organises its growth around one headquarters and several bases: the historic Changzhou plant is joined by the Nantong development, a high-end green coastal steel industrial park, and the Huai'an base focused on steel cord.
The Changzhou base positions itself as a benchmark for quality special steel bars and wire rod, while Huai'an is planned as the world's largest ultra-high-strength steel cord base, with around 1.5 million tonnes a year of planned capacity. The group covers steel smelting, rolling and deep processing, and was the first enterprise in Jiangsu to achieve ultra-low emissions in steel production.
