Jaecoo is a Chinese automobile brand launched in 2023 by Chery Automobile from Wuhu, Anhui Province, as the adventure-oriented SUV label within the joint Omoda & Jaecoo international strategy. It was created exclusively for overseas markets and unveiled alongside its sister brand at the Shanghai Motor Show, with a clearly differentiated visual and commercial identity of its own.
Its range is built around SUVs such as the Jaecoo J7, a compact crossover with intelligent all-wheel drive and plug-in hybrid versions offering long range, and the Jaecoo J8, its larger flagship SUV, joined by proposals such as the J5 and electrified variants using the group's hybrid technology. The brand combines efficient combustion engines, plug-in hybrid systems and a safety and connectivity package designed for use both on and off the tarmac.
Jaecoo is already sold in dozens of countries across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia through dealer networks partly shared with Omoda but with its own brand spaces and communication.
