About Hengan International Group
Hengan International Group, founded in 1985 and listed in Hong Kong under code 1044, is China's largest manufacturer of personal hygiene products. It is headquartered at Hengan Industrial City in Anhai, Jinjiang, Fujian, and from there runs a nationwide production and distribution network with tens of thousands of employees.
The group works in four main segments: tissue paper products under the Hearttex brand (pocket handkerchiefs, boxed and soft tissue, kitchen towels and wet wipes); sanitary napkins with brands such as Space 7 (QVII); disposable baby diapers, with Anerle and Q-MO, and adult incontinence products, with Elderjoy; and a household products line. It is regarded as China's largest producer of sanitary napkins and baby diapers.
Hengan sells across mainland China and into overseas markets through retail, e-commerce and other channels, and also controls the Malaysian group Wang-Zheng. For the paper sector, it is the large integrated tissue and hygiene manufacturer that combines raw materials, well-known own brands and one of the country's most extensive sales networks.
