Henan Tailijie Biotech Co., Ltd. is a biotechnology company from Mengzhou, Henan, specialising in the research, production and sales of soluble dietary fiber. It is recognised as a national high-tech enterprise and as a "specialised, refined, unique and innovative" enterprise in Henan Province.
It is regarded as Asia's first polydextrose producer: in 2003 it was granted the invention patent for the polydextrose production process and led the drafting of China's first national standard GB25541 for this ingredient. It runs a provincial engineering technology centre and a postdoctoral R&D base, holds more than forty intellectual property rights, and its line reaches 30,000 tons of soluble fiber per year.
Its polydextrose is used in beverages, dairy products, cocoa and chocolate, candy, baked goods, frozen drinks and health products, and is exported to more than sixty countries, with customers such as Mengniu, Nestlé and Coca-Cola. BRC, FSSC 22000, ISO, Halal, Kosher, Sedex and Non-GMO certifications back its production for international formulators.
