Hangzhou Kelida Textile Mill Co., Ltd. is a decorative textile manufacturer based in Yuhang, Hangzhou, a town with over a thousand years of weaving history, where it has been recognised as one of the national sofa fabric development bases. The company occupies a large site and reports an annual throughput of more than seven million metres of fabric.
Its main production is yarn-dyed chenille jacquard fabric, silk and faux silk fabric and cotton-linen fabric, which are also made up into finished products such as cushions, bedding and curtains. Its range runs to more than ten thousand items, aimed at homes, hotels and office buildings.
Kelida entered the home textile field in 1992 and has made in-house design and international trade service its hallmarks: around ninety per cent of its output is exported to the United States and Europe. It has recently extended its capacity with overseas industrial investment serving those same markets.
