About Guizhou Tyre Co., Ltd.
Guizhou Tyre Co., Ltd. is one of China's longest-established tire manufacturers. Founded in 1958 as Guizhou Tyre Factory, it merged in 1965 with the relocated division of the historic Shanghai Ta Chung Hua Rubber Factory and was restructured in 1996 as a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (code 000589). It is one of the country's large-scale tire enterprises and one of China's off-the-road (OTR) tire production and export bases.
Under the Advance, Samson, Tornado, Chinhoo and Jingang brands it produces truck and passenger car tires, OTR tires, agricultural and forestry machinery tires, industrial vehicle tires, mining tires, solid tires and special tires, with more than 3,000 specifications and models. It runs two production bases — Guiyang, with a new plant of about 2,300 mu in Zhazuo, and Vietnam, operated by Advance Tyre (Vietnam) — and maintains a state-level enterprise technology centre, a post-doctoral research centre and more than a hundred authorised patents.
Its tires are sold across China and exported to more than 120 countries and regions, with over 30 percent of sales coming from exports and sales companies in Hong Kong, North America and Europe. The company works to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification, CCC certification, the US DOT safety mark and the European E-mark, and publishes its catalogue and corporate data on the English version of its official website.
