Foton Motor, formally Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., is a Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer founded on 28 August 1996 and headquartered in Beijing's Changping district. Part of the BAIC group, it has become one of the world's largest producers of commercial vehicles, with cumulative sales exceeding eleven million units and a global workforce in the tens of thousands.
Its range covers virtually the whole of commercial transport: Auman heavy and medium trucks, light and mini trucks, View vans and buses, Tunland pickups, city and intercity buses and construction machinery vehicles. The eMobility line adds fully electric and hybrid versions of its trucks, vans and buses aimed at urban delivery, logistics and zero-emission public transport.
