About Denza Auto

Denza is the premium new energy vehicle brand of Shenzhen Denza New Energy Co., Ltd., founded in 2010 as a joint venture between BYD and Daimler and fully owned by BYD since 2024. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, it was the first Sino-foreign label devoted exclusively to electric vehicles and now leads the premium offensive of the world's largest maker of electrified cars.

Its range brings together the D9 luxury MPV, in electric and plug-in hybrid versions, the N7 and N9 SUVs and the Z9 and Z9 GT grand tourers, supported by the group's e3 intelligent control platform and Blade batteries. On international markets the brand also sells hybrid off-roaders such as the B5 and B8, and combines European-inspired design with high-tech cabins and advanced driver assistance.

Through its global English-language website, Denza coordinates its expansion across Europe —with an official launch in Milan in 2025—, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Oceania. It targets premium buyers and affluent families looking for luxury electrified MPVs and SUVs with latest-generation Chinese technology, as an alternative to the traditional German premium brands.
