About Delong Steel
Delong Steel Co., Ltd. is an integrated steelworks founded in 2000 in Xingtai, Hebei Province, bringing sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking and rolling together on a single site. Its capacity is around three million tonnes a year at each of those three main stages — iron, steel and rolled products — and it employs several thousand people.
Its main equipment includes three 1,080-cubic-metre blast furnaces, two 120-tonne converters and two hot-rolled wide strip lines of 850 mm and 1,250 mm, supplying customers in construction, machinery and manufacturing. The company listed on the Singapore Exchange in 2005 and positions itself as a quality benchmark producer within the Chinese steel industry.
Delong has made clean production a hallmark: it ranks among China's first green factories and has turned its Xingtai plant into an industrial cultural park with national AAAA tourist attraction status, open to visitors without stopping production. That combination of integrated capacity, hot wide strip output and advanced environmental management defines its offer for buyers of steel products in northern China.
