Dayun Automobile Co., Ltd. is a private Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in the Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shanxi Province. Established in 2004 and in operation since 2009 within the Dayun Group, the company integrates R&D, production, sales and service of commercial vehicles, with registered capital of over one billion yuan and production qualifications for all commercial vehicle series.
Its production structure spans three wholly-owned bases: Yuncheng builds heavy trucks and new energy vehicles, Chengdu produces light trucks and Shiyan medium trucks. The catalogue covers tractors, dump trucks, rigid trucks, special vehicles and trailers under the Dayun brand, plus a dedicated new energy vehicle base with capacity for pure electric light buses and multi-purpose passenger vehicles, and the Yuanhang electric passenger car brand that entered mass production in 2023.
Dayun ranks among China's top ten heavy truck makers, has implemented smart factory and lean production programmes, and sells its vehicles in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas through its commercial network.
