About Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Co., Ltd.
Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. is a metallurgical company founded in 1953 in Huangshi, Hubei Province, and regarded as one of China's five large copper production bases. Part of the state-owned China Nonferrous Metal Mining group (CNMC), it keeps its own brand, its own official site in Chinese and a differentiated industrial activity, with mining, smelting and deep processing of non-ferrous metals at the core of its business.
Its production focuses on copper: concentrates, blister copper and copper cathodes, together with gold, silver and other precious and rare metals recovered from the process, industrial sulfuric acid as a smelting co-product and processed products such as copper tube and copper bar. Industry sources credit it with annual capacity of several hundred thousand tonnes of copper and an established position among the country's large smelters.
From Huangshi in central China, Daye supplies the electrical, electronics, construction and machinery industries that consume refined copper and copper semi-finished products. For non-ferrous metal buyers it represents a historic, state-scale smelter with a complete chain, from ore to cathode and processed product.
