Chengli Special Automobile Co., Ltd. is the core company of the CLW Automobile Group and one of China's largest special vehicle manufacturers. Founded in September 2004 and designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to produce special purpose vehicles, it is headquartered at the Chengli Automobile Industry Park in Suizhou, Hubei, a city known as China's capital of special vehicles, where its main plants are located.
The company produces more than 800 types of special trucks on chassis from brands such as Sinotruk, Shacman, Dongfeng, Foton and FAW: water, fuel and chemical tankers, garbage trucks and sweepers, fire trucks, truck-mounted cranes, refrigerated trucks, concrete mixers, aerial work vehicles, wreckers and rescue vehicles, while also selling chassis and spare parts. Its registered brand is CLW (Chengliwei) and it runs several production bases in Suizhou and other Hubei cities.
The group serves public tenders, distributors and fleets in China and exports to markets in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, with its own export team working in several languages, including Spanish through the Spanish version of its official website.
